The Helium Health Telemedicine Solution will be available to you AT NO COST from now until April 30th. All you have to do is reach out to request an upgrade to the Telemedicine platform and you will be up and running in 5 minutes.
To start a televisit, the frontdesk or doctor needs to book a televist appointment for the patient. For new patients, a file has to be created first before an appointment can be booked.

Creating a Televisit Appointment
The purpose of the appointment scheduling is to remind the patients and also to add the appointment to the doctor’s calendar.
- Log in to the EMR (hospitalname.onemedicalfile.com)
- Go to “Appointments“
- At the top click “Setup New Appointment”
- Choose the Patient from the “Select Patient” field
- Choose the Doctor from the “Select a Doctor” field
- Pick a date from the “Date” field
- Pick a “Start Time” and “End Time” from their respective fields
- Make sure “Evisit” is picked as the “Visit Reason”
- Click “Add“
When the front desk or doctor clicks on “Add” an email/sms is sent to the patient containing details about the visit.

Starting Televisit
Appointments must be created first before the “Start TeleVisit” button becomes available on the Patient File.
- Log in to the EMR (hospitalname.onemedicalfile.com)
- Go to “Patient File“
- At the top click “Start TeleVisit” button, and click “Proceed” to confirm you are ready to start the TeleVisit
- TeleVisit video is launched at the bottom left corner of the screen, while the doctor awaits the Patient to join the call
- Click “Allow” above to grant the EMR microphone & camera access
- TeleVisit video is started when the patient joins the call.
- Click the “Message icon” to send a message to the patient
- Click the “Exit icon” to end the call.

When the doctor clicks on the “Start TeleVisit” button in step 3, a confirmation dialog box is presented and the doctor is required to click “Proceed” to confirm he/she is ready to start the TeleVisit.

After confirmation, an email/sms is sent to the patient containing a link to join the call.
